DS Trailer Rentals is a family owned and operated business rooted in Orangevale, California. We founded this company with a simple mission: to provide our neighbors and local professionals with a higher standard of trailer rental. Our fleet is built on a foundation of reliability, transparency, and preventative maintenance. When you call us, you are speaking directly to the owners who take personal pride in every unit that leaves our lot.
We believe that a trailer rental should be a complete solution rather than just a piece of equipment. This is why we have eliminated hidden fees and add-on costs by including everything you need for a successful haul in our standard daily rates. Every car hauler and utility trailer in our fleet is fully stocked with professional grade gear, including 12k winches, Vulcan ratchet and axle straps, snatch blocks, and recovery tools. We even provide the adjustable hitch and electrical adapters so that the only thing you need to bring to the appointment is your tow truck.

We perform deep quarterly inspections on every unit and track mileage meticulously to stay ahead of manufacturer recommended maintenance intervals. To provide our customers with even more peace of mind, we have upgraded our heavy duty trailers to 14-ply tires to better handle the demands of the road and reduce the risk of hazards. Everything you need to haul safely! We believe in providing a complete, ready-to-work solution. Depending on the trailer, your rental includes heavy-duty 12k winches (with batteries), top-of-the-line Vulcan straps, E-track systems, adjustable wheel chocks, and even the right hitch if you need it. It is all included upfront so you can get hitched up and hit the road with confidence.
For almost our entire fleet, your standard, valid everyday driver's license is all you need. The only exception is our heavy-duty 18ft Summit Equipment Gravity Tilt (14k GVWR). Because of its weight class, we strictly require a Class A commercial license for that specific unit.
To lock in your trailer for your specific dates, we require a $50 non-refundable reservation hold. We also require a $150 security deposit at the time of your rental. This deposit is fully refundable when you return the trailer, assuming there are no damages or issues.
To make sure we give you our full attention and get you set up right the first time, all pick-ups and drop-offs are by appointment only. Just let us know what time works best for your schedule when you book!
You just need to bring yourself, your tow vehicle, a valid driver's license, and proof of current auto insurance for the vehicle you are towing with. We will help you get hitched up, walk you through the gear, and get you on the road.
You are going to want our 20ft Eagle Gravity Tilt Deck. It features 4-inch drop axles and a super smooth, low-angle incline specifically designed for exotics, low-clearance cars, and track toys. Pair that with the included 12k winch, and you can pull your car up safely without even turning the key.
Absolutely. For wide-track vehicles, lifted trucks, and rock crawlers, our 20ft DOF (Drive-Over Fender) trailer is the way to go. It is a crawler-style deck built specifically to handle wider footprints, and it comes fully equipped with heavy-duty Vulcan straps and rear support jacks.
You bet. Our 6x10 Enclosed Wells Cargo trailer is completely weather-proof and secure. It features a rear ramp door and an E-track system, and we even throw in a professional hand cart and straps to make moving boxes, sensitive cargo, or business inventory a piece of cake.
